When I started playing as a teenager, I picked up an old right-handed
Silvertone 6-string electric and taught myself to play some rudimentary stuff.
(probably closer to RUDE-imentary) Not too long after, I learned that I was
(unknowingly) holding the damned thing upside-down........ignorance is bliss,
I guess....... I was always really surprised at the
reaction I got from others - "Wow, how the hell do you do that?!?!?!"
Soon after, I picked up my first bass nd since then I have never looked back. Still,
to this day, I get the same "Hey, Wow" reaction!!! I am currently
playing for "Pink Voyd" a Pink Floyd tribute band based out of Boston
MA. I play Lefty Fenders strung right-handed thru Ampeg amplification.
I do have my eye on a Lefty Ernie Ball Stingray (stratus blue sparkle w/matching
headstock would make me very
happy, yes please) Do any of my Lefty brothers or sisters have any experience
with "Orange Bass Amplification Systems" ???
If so, drop me a line and share your opinion of them w/me as I am thinking
of trying one out.
Thanks again
